On the Japanese version of the game, when you fight with Killer the first time, he’s Fire, but when you fight him as Malice Killer in The Gate, his element is Dark.

It is easy to say that. Lemmie guess, you don’t have proof you’re related to said person either?

There is no hint in the game that Yuri and Killer are related. Yay, they look similar… apart from that they have a different haircolour and Yuri’s element is Dark and not Fire, which Killer has.

I don’t expect you to believe me. I get that a lot *laughs*. But if what you want is a written source, then I really can’t help you there. I’m just telling you Hirota’s point of view, based on what he’s heard on the crew and his own opinion (at least that’s what he told me). We got to talking when I went for a visit in Osaka and he really didn’t tell me much. I just met him at that time and Japanese people aren’t really that open when it comes to first time encounters.

No, not really. She fell in love with Yuri, but Yuri didn’t was in love with Alice, who kept coming back from the dead, the greedy woman she is.
Karin loved Yuri so much, that all she wanted to be was at Yuri’s side when the world was being destroyed. Because Yuri wanted to be somewhere else, Karin ended being his mother and later on die, due to that attack on his house.

Karin loves Yuri. She tells him, and it’s not even necessary cause’ it even shows throughout the game. But if you think about it carefully, she really loved him like a mother loves her child. She didn’t really know that, of course.

I have played all …
I have played all the games, hence I said the ending of SH2 was horrible. Alice is dead, get over it. Now, Karen who loved Yuri so much is forced into her being his mother. What a pain. The burden of loving your son as if he was your lover. Remember when Yuri sat on the bench and said he was named after his mother’s first lover? Oh the cruelty. Man, what a horrible, horrible ending to a great game.

(Last reply, don’t get anxious!)Unfortunately, Yuri took a wrong path and became the bad guy in SH3, known as Killer. So if you see, it’s a cool storyline. I’m not saying that I liked the fact that they changed the main character, but seeing it from the good side, Yuri’s still in the game. Please comment about my opinion. Thank You!

(Reply continued). She becomes his wife and they have Yuri as their son. Karin changes her name to Anne (Anastasia changed her legal papers, legally naming her Anne and a Russian). People that have played SH2 until the end know this. And in SH3, the story continues because what really died was Yuri’s counsciousness and soul; this left in the world a body with no memory at all. I personally think …
I personally think you’re wrong. You see, every Shadow Hearts game has 2 endings (good and bad), right? But here’s the thing: the real endings are the bad ones. In SH1, Alice dies and the story in the second game continues with that. In SH2, Yuri dies and Karin goes into the past and meets with Yuri’s father. (Continued in my next reply).

In a way I’m happy …
In a way I’m happy he died, though, because he got to be with Alice; even though the ending did make me cry. I agree, though, that 3 was severely lacking despite the fact that I did like the majority of the characters, like Frank and Killer. It really had nothing to do with the rest of the Shadow Hearts storyline.
