Does playing video games stimulate the brain?
March 18, 2009 – 1:57 pmI was wondering if there would be the differences on how a person turns out between a person who grew up playing video games and one who didn't.
Yes it does, but many things stimulate the brain - so there would not necessarily be any difference.

Playing video games does stimulate the mind because it helps your problem solving skills. After awhile though your mind will need different stimulation so a wide variety of activities will keep your mind in top shape.

Video games can help develop spatial reasoning, problem solving skills, it can help with "building" virtual maps, and hand eye coordination.
