There’s a slight …
)
There’s a slight problem with this: people with ADD are usually very good at things they’re interested in - you can concentrate really well on things you like. Homework.. that’s a different story. Kids are already interested in video games, so all it’s doing is teaching ADD kids to concentrate harder on things they’re already paying attention to. (I’m uming. If this actually works, then great, and I want one.

Incorrect. They’re …
Incorrect. They’re not a form of mind control, they’re more of a mutual understanding.
You have control over your body but your body also responds to its situation and currently known issue.
Playing games is a lot like managing both ends of that stick: you have a directive that you want to accomplish and to do that you have to adjust your focus, attention, and situational awareness and incorporate that with timing, judgment, tactical planning, and patience.
Games are a full-body-experience.

My son went to the …
My son went to the Nadeau Educational Center in Cerritos and had bio-feedback like this. It does work. He is now reading way above his grade level, when at one time he was reading at pre-school level in second grade. He is going into 5th grade now. He is not on medication. His math has improved. He still is having problems with multiple tasks in math….but as his mom I was never good at math and don’t have ADHD. I would highly recommend this to anyone….it is expensive though.

well this explains …
well this explains alot! my freind has adhd. he almost always got in trouble with teachers, but ever since he started playing videogames, such as “skate” on the xbox360, and actually skateboarding, hes been a whole lot calmer, but he still takes medication. sometimes he makes loud outbirsts, which is a little weird, but alteast he can control himself most of the time.

You haven’t met my …
You haven’t met my 11 year old!!
Kicked out of pre-school. Daily trips to the principal’s office. Our home a frenzy of uncontrollable tantrums.
When the diagnosis was complete (this was a VERY intensive testing routine), the description fit her COMPLETLY!
With this diagnosis, I was able to get her legal protection from the CONSTANT punitive measures at her school. We were able to form appropriate support in areas she needed.
Drum lessons. Dance. Swimning. Consistent routines. And TONS of love.

one man’s gift is …
one man’s gift is another man’s curse.. you shouldn’t be subjected to your genes, some of these people are struggling with their ‘ADHD’ they are not sent to neurofeedback training against their will.. learn to control your mind , don’t let it control you. this isn’t any different than meditation

ADHD is simply a …
ADHD is simply a minimal amount of cell receptors in the front of your brain that processes Dopamine and other chemicals produced by the brain. The result is other overly active regions of the brain, such as creativity. The ADHD gene sequence “The Edison Gene” can be found in DDR2 genome and is closely linked to Autism.
ADHD is a real, and it’s also a wonderful gift.
Maybe you shouldn’t ume things that you don’t understand.
PS - This video is bullshit. BioFeedback sucks.

a doctor? if only I …
a doctor? if only I could finally buy a house. I’ve just done some research on it. I’ve seen people with ADHD and they seem to not be able to concentrating no matter what they do. This kid I know I was talking to him. as I was talking he out of the blue ran outside picked up a stick with his teeth. Mid conversation.
Honest answer is I don’t really know All I know is what i see and read that all. Theses day we are expected to multitask beyond that of out ancestors.
